Please be adivsed that due to the Victorian lockdown imposed we will be closed Mon 15th, Tues 16th and Wed 17th Feb. If you have an appointment during this period it has been cancelled. We will contact you when we reopen to reschedule your appointment. Sorry for any inconvenience. Mask wearing

Everyone in Victoria is required to carry a mask or face covering with them at all times. The advise from the Health Department requires masks to be worn at all times in our practices. If you enter either of our practices without wearing a mask or face covering you may be asked to return when you a mask with you. Should you have an exemption for medical reasons please provide evidence.

Fogging Glasses

As we are now all required to wear a mask or face covering the number one question has been how do I stop my glasses from fogging up? The unfortunate answer is you can't. There are many suggestions out there to help reduce fogging and we encourage everyone to give them a try. Some may help, some may not. Please watch the video which has some helpful hints. A word of advice though please be careful if you rub your lenses with a product e.g. soap as you may damage them.

Coronavirus Update

Victorian Lockdown ends Wed 17th Feb 11.59pm We have been advised that we must close during the 5 day lockdown. We will be reopen on Thurs 18th Feb. The follwing will apply with our COVID-Safe Plan in place. Retail (front of shop) Open. Eye testing (Optometry) Open. We are now taking routine appointments. Masks must be worn at all times.
All patients will be Coronavirus screened via a questionaire before your appointment and your temperature will be checked.
If you answer yes to any of the questions you will be asked to reschedule your appointment and then leave the practice immediately.
Social distancing rules apply and both our practices have store limits of 8 persons in the practice at any one time and only 2 persons in your group. Cleaning has been increased and appointment times lengthened. We apologise for any inconvenience.
We must take all actions required to protect our staff and other patients from possible infection.

Conjunctivitis and watery sore eyes:
We have been informed that Conjunctivitis is a possible known symptom of Coronavirus and is highly contagious. We ask that if you have these symptoms to phone our practice for advice on how to treat it. Langtree Practice - Open Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm
